The experience of planning a wedding is, apparently, very much like falling into a black hole. The passage of time slows asymptotically towards a halt, and you get stretched thin by unimaginably powerful tidal forces.

Hair appointment today. Meeting with Elizabeth tomorrow. Rehearsal Friday. Wedding Saturday.

Must remember to take Obama's advice.

No kidding! The three days before Jeremy's and my wedding seemed to last at least three weeks. (That probably had something to do with the fact that I was Working 16 hours a day on last-minute preparations.) Best of luck, and see you guys in a few days!

The hours between 1:30 and 6 on Friday, in particular, seemed to last about 35 years.

I remember fully understanding why people elope, as it often seemed like a good idea. I'm ultimately glad that we didn't, and I'm very happy with how our wedding had been. It'll be over faster than you think!
