So I've transferred to the online version of the class. We'll see how that goes. I'll probably have to run it on my work computer, unless I wait til October (when I'm theoretically planning to get a new machine, though I'm now kinda conflicted on whether I should wait for the next-gen, Intel-based Macs; they might have better cross-compatibility for PC games). I guess I can always come home to feed the cats, then drive back over to work -- it's a lot closer than Berkeley, anyhow.
In unrelated news, Palo Alto has finally switched to all-in-one-bin recycling, and expanded the list of things you're allowed to recycle (e.g. they used to only accept plastics 1 and 2, and now they take 1 through 7). I took out the trash and recycling tonight, and was amazed at how much less time it took, without the "sorting crap into bins" step... V. pleased.
Between trying to get work done at work, and catching up on news and blogs, I've been staying up Too Damn Late for several nights. Need to stop doing this.
Now, in a stunning demonstration of lack-of-resolve, I will go finish reading Slate. *sigh*
