So, according to the two docs who looked over my knee this morning, I need physical therapy to strengthen the muscles in my upper legs and in my pelvis, to help maintain the alignment of my knees so they don't develop some kind of arthritis (related to the tendons around the knee cap) over the next 5-10 years... As if I don't have enough things to do right now. :-P
I guess I get to deal with three months of focused therapy, and after that I really should start going to a gym 2-3 times per week to maintain strength/tone. Which I know I won't do without a partner to go with...
Also, I think I'm going to end up applying second-round to Presidio, instead of first, because I just haven't been happy with my personal-statement essay (I've finished everything else), and this week I decided I'd rather go see Amory Lovins' series of public lectures at Stanford, than start a new essay.
