This is the first one I've hand-written in a long time... I simply can't believe these neanderthals have the gall to ask a quasi-governmental organization to promote them. Well, OK, I can believe it -- I mean, several states have "Choose Life" license plates now *gag* -- but it still pisses me off.

Dear USPS officials,
It has been brought to my attention that the National Trappers' Association is lobbying for a stamp celebrating their cruel practices. I am writing to request that you turn them down.
I'm not a vegetarian. I wear leather. But I consider many practices of fur trappers to be despicable. Leg-capture traps mutilate an animal, but keep it lingering alive for hours; some animals literally tear themselves to pieces trying to escape before the trapper returns to kill them.
Please do not endorse this barbarism.
Sincerely,
(etc)
